It encompasses the shared assumptions, rituals, language, and norms that influence behavior and decision-making. Far from being peripheral, culture serves as a powerful mechanism of coordination and control&mdash;often more influential than formal structures or policies. A well-aligned culture can support strategic goals, foster innovation, and reinforce desired behaviors, while a misaligned culture can silently erode performance and trust.
