An action-oriented SWOT pairs internal factors (Strengths and Weaknesses) with external factors (Opportunities and Threats) to create action-oriented strategies. By pairing unrelated facts in different ways, it cultivates leaps in thinking to identify options that are meaningful and not obvious.
